Dead Boys Guitarist Cheetah Chrome Dies at 71

Eugene Richard O’Connor, known to punk fans as Cheetah Chrome, died Sunday, his Dead Boys bandmates confirmed on Instagram. The Cleveland-born musician was a founding guitarist of the band and an architect of the early punk rock movement.
