Heavy rains have triggered devastating floods across six districts of Odisha, including Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, and Sambalpur. At least three people, including a fire personnel, died in the disaster. Over two lakh people were affected with over 30,000 evacuated from low-lying areas. The Revenue and Disaster Management Minister stated that Balasore, Bhadrak, and Jajpur are the worst-hit regions.
