RCB Becomes First Cricket Team to Cross $300 Million Brand Value
RCB has become the first cricket team to cross $300 million in brand value, according to a report by Houlihan Lokey. The team was acquired by a consortium of investors, including Blackstone, Bolt Ventures, Aditya Birla Group, and Times of India Group, at a reported valuation of $1.78 billion. The IPL business enterprise value has also reached $20.6 billion, with RCB being the most valuable franchise at $312 million.
