The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in various parts of Telangana over the next two days. The alert warns of heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places in the state. The IMD has also forecasted light to moderate rain or thundershowers at most places over Telangana. The orange alert is in place till August 3, after which light to moderate rainfall is expected to continue.
