Terms of Service
Status: draft, in preparation with counsel
This page states what applies today. The finalised Terms of Service — reviewed by counsel for jurisdictional clauses, liability limits, and DPDP / GDPR / CCPA compliance — will replace this page before v1 public launch. Until then, the statements below govern your use of Agyata.
Who can use Agyata
You must be 18 or older. The age gate is binding. If you are under 18, you must not use this site — not "should not", must not. By proceeding past the age gate, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. Agyata is not available to users whose accounts or sessions have been banned by us, or to users attempting to evade a ban.
What Agyata provides
An anonymous confession feed for short text posts. Random 1:1 text chat with other anonymous users. Random 1:1 video chat with other anonymous users who have proven camera and microphone permissions. All services are provided "as is" and may be modified, paused, or discontinued without notice. Agyata is a free service at v1; a future optional Agyata+ subscription (v1.1 and beyond) does not gate core chat features.
What you agree not to do
Post content sexualising or endangering minors (zero tolerance — instant ban + referral to authorities where applicable). Post harassment, threats of violence, self-harm promotion, or targeted abuse. Share another person's personal information without their consent (doxing). Attempt to deanonymise other users. Use Agyata to facilitate illegal activity. Circumvent bans, rate limits, or the 18+ gate. Scrape, mirror, or automatically interact with the service. Use Agyata in jurisdictions where this kind of service is prohibited.
What you own, what we own
You retain ownership of any content you post. By posting a confession, you grant Agyata a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to store, display, and moderate that confession for the duration it remains on the platform. This license ends when the confession is deleted. The Agyata brand, software, and design are owned by Agyata — you may not copy, resell, or repackage them.
Reports, bans, and appeals
We may remove content and ban sessions at our discretion when our safety policies are violated. Bans apply at the session fingerprint layer and evasion is itself a violation. If you believe you were banned in error, email appeals@agyata.com with the session or content context. We review appeals within 14 days.
Disclaimers and liability
Agyata is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Agyata disclaims liability for damages arising from use of the service — including but not limited to lost data (there is typically no data to lose by design), missed connections, or the behaviour of other users. Specific liability caps, force-majeure clauses, and limitations will be detailed in the final Terms. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
Jurisdiction
Agyata is operated from Bengaluru, India. Until the final Terms specify otherwise with counsel, disputes will be resolved under the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Bengaluru. Users located in jurisdictions where local consumer-protection or data-protection law applies (for example, EU GDPR, UK GDPR, California CCPA, India DPDP) retain those local rights.
Changes
When the counsel-reviewed Terms replace this page, a site-wide banner will announce the change for at least seven days before the new Terms take effect. Continued use after that period constitutes acceptance.
