How these prices are worked out
The international price per troy ounce is converted into BRL and divided by 31.1034768 to get the price per gram. Ten grams is ten times that.
These are not the rates a jeweller or bullion dealer will charge. Local prices add import duty, taxes and making charges, and move with local demand.
