Key points

  • APM bought WorkCare in March for $US112.8m ($164.5m) and Medcore in August for $US172.5m.
  • WorkCare contributed $44m of revenue and a $900,000 profit in the final quarter of the year.
  • APM's profit narrowed to $124.5m from $166.6m, while EBITDA rose 0.3 per cent to $308m.

Why it matters. The US deals will give APM a considerably stronger presence in one of the world's biggest rehabilitation markets and will enable it to follow big US and Australian clients around the world.

Perth-founded disability and employment services group APM is set to lift annual revenue above $3 billion as its US deals feed in. Its flat 2026 financial year figures came in its first full year in private ownership, with WorkCare bought in March for $US112.8m ($164.5m). WorkCare added $44m of revenue and a $900,000 profit in its final quarter, while Medcore, with estimated turnover above $400m, will contribute for most of 2026-27.

APM Eyes $3 Billion Revenue After $400 Million US Acquisition Spree

APM, the Perth-founded disability and employment services group, expects its annual revenue to pass $3 billion. The forecast follows about $400 million of back-to-back acquisitions in North America. It bought occupational healthcare businesses Workcare in March and Medcore in August. The company reported flat financial results for the 2026 financial year, its first full 12 months after a restructuring. Management expects the acquisitions to have a larger effect on revenue and profit during the current year. The results show that growth so far has come mainly through purchases rather than organic performance.
