Jerry Kelly wins Senior British Open with two-shot victory

American golfer Jerry Kelly claimed his third senior major championship on Sunday, winning the Senior British Open by two strokes at Gleneagles, Scotland. The 59-year-old finished at 10-under 270 after a final-round 68, which included four birdies and two bogeys on the Kings Course. Kelly, who had previously won the Senior Players in 2020 and 2022, held his nerve on the 18th hole to secure the victory. The Senior Claret Jug, awarded to the champion, is the trophy Kelly had long sought as an amateur.
