Monsoon to Turn Vigorous for Next Four Days, Expect Heavy Rain and Flash Flooding

India is set to witness an intense spell of monsoon activity over the next four days as a deep depression moving across central India is expected to interact with an active Western Disturbance over the western Himalayas. This interaction is likely to raise the possibility of widespread heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and local flooding across several states. Satellite imagery on Tuesday showed the two large weather systems operating in the region. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall in several parts of the country. Residents are advised to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to stay safe.
