Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha adjourned till 2 PM amid NEET protest

The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned until 2 PM on Friday following continuous protests by opposition members over the NEET paper leak controversy. Opposition leaders, led by Congress and AAP, demanded a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe and the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Presiding officers Dilip Saikia (Lok Sabha) and Jagdeep Dhankhar (Rajya Sabha) adjourned the houses after repeated attempts to resume proceedings failed. The protest disrupted Question Hour and other scheduled business, with no legislative work completed. The government has not yet responded to the opposition’s demands.
