Tamil Nadu Health Minister Calls SC Verdict on Super Speciality Seats 'Historic'

Tamil Nadu Health and Family Welfare Minister K.G. Arunraj has called the Supreme Court verdict on super speciality seats 'historic'. The verdict allows Tamil Nadu to surrender unfilled super speciality medical seats for the second round of the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling. The move is expected to benefit students who were unable to secure seats in the first round of counselling. The AIQ counselling is a centralised counselling process for admission to medical colleges across the country.
