The new vehicle, AE Industrial Partners BR Fund, is led by Lexington Partners and includes additional investment from several institutional investors. Blue Raven management and certain existing shareholders also rolled significant proceeds into the transaction. AE Industrial initially invested in Blue Raven in 2019. Since then, the company has developed into a technology-enabled distribution platform serving the global defense market. Blue Raven operates as an authorized and exclusive distributor of highly engineered parts, complex systems, and hard-to-source components for a growing group of original equipment manufacturer partners. The company serves customers in more than 40 countries.
