Yemen Truce Unravels, Threatening to Widen Mideast War

A fragile truce in Yemen has unraveled, threatening to widen the Mideast war. The escalation of tit-for-tat attacks between Saudi Arabia and Houthi rebels has raised concerns about a return to all-out war. According to Hindustan Times, a spate of attacks between the Saudis and the Iran-backed militant group is escalating, threatening to break a fragile truce that has held for four years. The return to all-out war between the Saudis and the Houthi rebels would heap more pressure on global energy markets already strained by the US-Israeli war on Iran and Tehran's retaliatory chokehold on the Strait of Hormuz.
